POOL ANYONE?

Every good arcade should have at least one pool table. Sure, the table would be a little warped, the cues tips worn smoother than glass on the beach and you were lucky to find chalk but still people would play them. Keeping in line with the rest of my arcade assets I was trying my best to keep this as low of a poly count as I could. Everything you see there (including the chain) clocks in just under 10 000. At first I had used a lot of Max materials for the metal trim but besides adding to the render time I found I wasn't getting the unique look I wanted, so as you can see in the unwrap, it's all textures.

I was never much of a racing game fan but this one is a classic. And realizing my arcade scene had an abundnace of upright cabinets I found this beast of a machine to balance things out pretty nicely.
