The only easy part of creating my arcade environment was the idea itself. I was trying to replicate the look and feel of video arcades from the early nineties, which I remember being their heyday. Lighting was dim, the smell of cigarette smoke was strong and there was never a Street Fighter 2T machine unattended.

This is the opposite wall to the first shot, which is decorated with a mural of CapcomT characters behind the pinball and Daytona USAT machines. One thing that came out surpisingly well was the black-light carpeting that really seems to replicate that classic arcade feel.
